The Ingredients

Here is a list of the ingredients you will need for these turkey, ham and cheese tortilla roll ups. Scroll down to the printable recipe card for all the details.

  • Deli meat. Using deli turkey and ham makes this recipe a cinch.
  • Dijon mustard.
  • Shredded cheese. We used Pepper jack and Cheddar cheese, but you can use anything from American cheese to a more expensive imported cheese.
  • Cream cheese. Let it come to room temperature so it is easy to spread.
  • Flour tortillas OR Lavash flat bread. Any flatbread will work as long as it is soft and flexible. Try using whole wheat tortillas or make homemade kamut tortillas if you feel inspired.
  • Seasonings. We used garlic powder, salt, and pepper, but we have several suggestions for flavor variations below.

Tips for Success

Make sure to let the ham and turkey roll ups sit in the refrigerator for at least one hour before slicing. When you chill them, they will firm up and be easier to slice without squishing the filling out.

Any flatbread will work as long as it is soft and flexible.

Lay the tortillas on a flat surface in assembly-line style to make several roll ups at once.
