Notes
Best Liquid for Taco Meat: Tomato juice adds a little extra flavor and richness to the taco meat, but chicken broth and water both work well.Refried Bean Variation: For a heartier taco filling, stir a can of refried beans into the seasoned meat mixture after it finishes simmering. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring until heated through.Storage: Leftover taco meat can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
