A fork in a dish with honey sriracha brussel sprouts.

Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts

These honey sriracha Brussels sprouts are a great option if you are looking to change up your side dish routine. They are perfectly tender on the inside, and the sweet, spicy, savory glaze caramelizes the outside of the sprouts toward the end of the roasting time.
The combination of sweet honey and spicy sriracha makes for a unique flavor profile. The recipe is fast and easy and requires mostly pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1-½ pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Honey Sriracha Glaze

  • 2-½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 minced garlic clove

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half. Transfer them to a sheet pan and toss them with olive oil.
  • Spread them out in a single layer and roast for 15 to 35 minutes or until tender and slightly charred. The time will vary depending on the size of your Brussels sprouts.
  • While the Brussels are roasting, stir the honey, soy sauce, lime juice, sriracha, and garlic in a small dish and set aside.
  • After the Brussel sprouts roast for 10 to 30 minutes (and are fork tender), remove them from the oven and toss them with the honey sriracha sauce. Return the pan to the oven and roast for the last 5 minutes.

Notes

Try to select Brussels sprouts that are approximately the same size. Very small Brussel sprouts will only need 10 minutes of roasting time.
