Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo chicken dip loaded with cheese, chicken, and buffalo hot sauce. It is topped off with blue cheese crumbles to pull in all the classic flavors of buffalo chicken.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix or homemade ranch seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup Buffalo-style hot sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese divided
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 3 teaspoons chopped chives or scallions

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix it until it is smooth and lump-free. You can use an electric mixer or mix it by hand. 
  • Stir in the sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, and Worcestershire sauce. Add the hot sauce, shredded chicken, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the mixture into a 10-inch baking dish or cast-iron skillet. Sprinkle the rest of the Cheddar on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes until hot and bubbly. Top with the blue cheese and return to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes to melt the blue cheese.
  • Garnish with chopped chives or scallions. 

Notes

If you double the recipe, bake it in a 13x9 inch pan.
