White Garlic Sauce for Pizza

A smooth, creamy white pizza sauce that will revolutionize your pizza making! We used a mega amount of fresh garlic plus powdered garlic to maximize the flavors. Slather this sauce on your homemade pizza but don't stop there, save some for veggies, pasta and soups!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper

Instructions

  • Set a small skillet or saucepan over medium heat and melt the butter.  Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, do not let the garlic brown.  Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.  
  • Slowly add the cream while whisking constantly.  Cook and stir until smooth and thickened, about 3 minutes.  
  • Stir in the garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Remove from the heat and transfer to a dish or pitcher.  

Notes

To make this a cheese sauce, stir in 1-1/2 cups grated parmesan after the sauce has been removed from the heat.
