Ingredients

package
16 ounces lentils (about 2-1/4 cups)
2
teaspoons
onion powder
1-1/2
teaspoons
dried oregano
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon
salt
1/2
teaspoon
pepper
1
bay leaf
3
cups
chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions
Rinse the lentils and pick out any pebbles if you find them.
Place all the ingredients in the Instant Pot. Close the lid and make sure the valve is in the ‘sealed’ position.
Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
Allow the Instant Pot to release the pressure naturally for 10 minutes then release any remaining pressure manually.
Open the lid and stir. Add additional seasoning if desired.
Notes
You can use brown, green, or Puy lentils with this recipe.
If you use red or yellow lentils, reduce the cooking time to 8 minutes
