Figs and Gorgonzola
Figs and Gorgonzola makes a simple, yet delicious appetizer. The sweetness and crunch of the seeds in the figs is complimented with the creamy gorgonzola cheese.

Ingredients
10
fresh ripe figs
any kind will do
5
ounces
good gorgonzola cheese
sprigs of fresh thyme for garnish

Prevent your screen from going dark
Instructions
Rinse figs under cool water and pat dry with paper towels. Cut them in half and place on a serving plate.
Crumble or slice gorgonzola and slightly press into each fig.
Garnish with a sprig of thyme and serve.
Notes
These can be prepared in advance and refrigerated, remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving.
