Miso Butter Corn on the Cob
Serve this miso butter corn on the cob with an easy, quick white miso butter for great umami taste.

Ingredients

fresh ears of corn
4
tablespoons
butter
room temperature
2
tablespoons
white miso paste
room temperature

Instructions
Shuck the corn, remove the silky threads and trim the stem end
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium-high heat; then add the corn and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
While the corn is cooking, add the butter and miso paste to a small dish and blend together until smooth. Set aside.
Using tongs, remove the corn and place on a plate. Serve the hot corn and pass the miso butter for guests to spread on their corn.
Notes
We like our corn boiled but it can also be cooked on a grill, microwave, stovetop grill, oven roasted, or steamed.
