Ingredients

  • 4 fresh ears of corn
  • 4 tablespoons butter room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste room temperature

Instructions

  • Shuck the corn, remove the silky threads and trim the stem end
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium-high heat; then add the corn and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • While the corn is cooking, add the butter and miso paste to a small dish and blend together until smooth. Set aside.
  • Using tongs, remove the corn and place on a plate. Serve the hot corn and pass the miso butter for guests to spread on their corn.

Notes

We like our corn boiled but it can also be cooked on a grill, microwave, stovetop grill, oven roasted, or steamed.
