Get ready to fall in love. You can fil the center of the cookies with caramel or dulce de leche for an extra sweet surprise.

–– unsalted butter, softened – brown sugar – granulated sugar – eggs – vanilla extract – all-purpose flour – baking soda – salt mini chocolate chips

Ingredients

In a bowl of a stand mixer (or with a handheld electric mixer in a mixing bowl), blend together the butter and sugars. Whip the mixture until it becomes light and airy. Then, incorporate the eggs and vanilla.

Sift the dry ingredients into the mixture and stir until combined.

Mix in the chocolate chips.

Spoon 1 tablespoon portions of the cookie dough into each mold. Bake until they turn a light golden brown.

After they bake, the centers will have a slight indentation that is perfect for filling with sweet, gooey fillings like dulce de leche, frosting, peanut butter, or caramel.

Chocolate chip cookies in the shape of a heart, covered with drizzles of more deliciousness?! It goes without saying that these are the PERFECT DESSERT for a fun Valentine’s party, birthday party, or any other special gathering.
