Horseradish Aioli

This easy horseradish aioli recipe makes a creamy sauce with a pungent bite that is sure to add an intense kick of flavor to your favorite dishes! It perfectly compliments red meats like prime rib roast, tender steak and even a juicy venison burger. But it’s also the perfect sauce for roasted veggies, fries, and sandwiches. You can make this creamy horseradish sauce in just a few minutes and jazz up any meal!

Ingredients – 1 cup mayonnaise – 3-4 tablespoons bottled horseradish or (freshly grated horseradish) – 3 medium garlic cloves, grated of minced – 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard – 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice – 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves – Salt and white pepper to taste.

​Place all of the ingredients into the bowl of a mini food processor. Blend until smooth.

Taste and add salt and pepper and blend again. Transfer the aioli to a jar or small bowl. Let it sit 30 minutes before using to allow the flavors to intensify.

That’s it! Just a few minutes of prep time is all it takes until that creamy aioli is chilling in the fridge.

– For an exceptional flavor and the best taste overall, substitute fresh horseradish root for the bottled prepared horseradish. Peel and grate a 2-inch piece of fresh horseradish root with the small side of a box grater. Blend with the ingredients.

– You can make this horseradish aioli recipe with any type of mayonnaise, including vegan mayonnaise. – To store, refrigerate the aioli in an airtight container for up to two weeks
